How to unlock multiple files on Mac

To assign read-only in windows is equivalent to assigning Locked on mac.

Users of windows are accustomed to assign Read only attribute to multiple files by selecting all those files & marking it read-only in properties for those files. But when it comes to mac, this method becomes little quirky.

When we select more than 10 files on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) & press Command + I for item info, it shows a single item info dialog box. But if number of files selected are equal to or less than 10, mac throws up a separate item info dialog for each file. Now checking Lock for each file can be very frustrating.

To solve this problem press Command + Option + I, mac will always show a single dialog box for multiple selected items.
